ESFNA Seattle 2025

Toronto – It has been official for many weeks now that Seattle is the host city for the 42 edition of ESFNA (Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America) tournament, ESFNA 2025. The city hosted the 34th edition in 2017.
And it is just less than a week away. It will take place between June 28 and July 5.
The event attracts tens of thousands of Ethiopians, Ethiopian-Americans and Ethiopian-Canadians.
32 soccer teams from across North America will be competing.
Apart from soccer tournaments, the week-long event features culture, music and Ethiopian food flavours in the vending area of the event.
According to ESFNA, this year Kuku Sebsebe and Tsehaye Yohannes – prominent Ethiopian singers will be performing at the event.
ESFNA 2025 has also invited two Guests of Honor ; Zenebe Argew and Kasahun Gebrehiwot. The former played soccer for the Meden club and for the national team in the 1980’s. The latter played soccer for the prominent Omedla club.
Passes and merchandise
ESNFA started to sell passes at the end of May. Three days pass costs $90. Priced at $125, the eight day pass offers a better deal.
The organization has also made arrangements with The Westin Seattle for discounted room rates for the event.
On the merchandise side, ESFNA announced this week official collections of the event. T-shirts and shopping bags with premium designs bearing ESFNA’s logo are already available for sale online. They are priced between $20 and $45.
ESFNA was founded in the U.S. in 1984 with a mission to bring Ethiopians together to celebrate Ethiopian culture and heritage, to network Ethiopians and support businesses as well.
