Toronto – Alelegn Azene, a promising midfielder who played for Bahir Dar city, has reportedly died. A report by Balageru T.V. described his death as a sudden one.
Other sources on social media seem to suggest that the player took his own life. However, the circumstances under which that has happened are unspecified.

The report from Balageru indicated that Alelege was recently wedded in the traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church – taking communion.
