Toronto – Abe Sano, president of Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, had a press conference regarding the incident that led to the loss of billions of birr in a matter of hours. He said it was not due to a cyber attack on the system. He related it to a “missing code” in the process of “improving the online banking system.”
