The Amhara Fano Resistance and Counter-Offensive emerged out of the primordial instinct for survival ! The genocidal Abiy kleptocracy committed horrific acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against the AMHARAs, who exhibited extraordinary patience and forbearance in the face of various levels of atrocity against them over 45 years some of the worst genocidal massacres having been perpetrated in the last five years ! Hence the cause of the Amhara resistance is abundantly justified !
The Amhara armed resistance is only a few months old, but it has already shown remarkable progress in terms of singleness of purpose, organisation, popular support and success on the battlefield ! The Abiy regime denied delivery of fertilizer to Amhara peasants during the planting season, implying attempts to weaponize hunger as a means of subjugation and possibly of mass murder! The unintended consequence has been a massive peasant uprising against the regime, which has automatically allied with the Fano insurrection !
Progressive improvement in the supply of military personnel and provisions , logistics, organisation, and mass support is turning the Fano Resistance into a formidable fighting force ! Time is on Fano’s side as it is being utilized for sensitising the entire Ethiopian people about the sinister intentions and objectives of the Abiy regime ! Fano’s morale and fighting spirit have grown in intensity and outreach !
By contrast, Abiy’s genocidal kleptocracy is being increasingly shunned by the people as it continues to wage civil war against the AMHARAs and foment strife and conflicts in Welayeta, Gambella, Affar and Gurage ! Political divisions in the top leadership and humiliating reverses in several battles in Amhara killil have weakened the regime’s grip on power which indicates that time is working against the genocidal kleptocracy ! The major factors working against the regime include the following:
1.ignobleness of its core objectives.
2.loss of popular support.
3.unbearably worsening economic hardship including hyperinflation and burgeoning unemployment.
4.increasing criticism and condemnation of the regime by the international community.
5.defection of soldiers from OPDO/OLF -dominated so-called Ethiopian army to the Fano Resistance and Counter-Offensive !
All the above-enumerated factors are in time working against the regime while the Fano Resistance and Counter-Offensive is visibly growing from strength to strength over time ! Time is definitely on Fano’s side !

2). Ethiopia’s Fannos (EF) vs. [‘Amara Armed Resistance & Amara Fanno Resistance’]:
EF are Volunteer Patriots who serve as ENDF’s Back-ups! They are neither politicians nor Ethnic Liberation Fighters. The Thugs who Bleed Ethiopia wrapped in the Ethiopian flag [wearing Amara Activist Hats] are Amara Domestic Terrorists – NO EXCEPTIONS!
3). Abiy & Amaras: Amaras’ Enemies in Amara Activist Hats [The Enemy Within] only contribute Noise to the GDP. Thanks to Team Abiy, Amara farmers are on track for Amaras’ food security:

4). The “Abiy Denied Amaras Fertilizer” Crap: Apart from the sabotage by The Enemy Within [Ethiopia’s Enemies in Amara Activist Hats], Ethiopia needs USD for imports:
i). Didn’t Thugs in Amara Activist Hats [TAAH] & TPLF’s Lackeys lobby the WSW* to impose embargo [loan/aid/AGOA]? [Most TAAHs are lackeys of former tyrant regimes.]
ii). The Egypt/WSW-backed TPLF looted Ethiopia bone-dry, fled to Tigray [cash in bags], and wreaked havoc with its 2-year war. Counter-strike requires Army, USD, etc.

In what world do states have armies? States/regions shouldn’t have armies, that’s a recipe for conflict down the road. There is a reason the federal has an army not the state/regions almost anywhere else.
The problem with the ENDF is that it is not what its name implies – it is not Ethiopian, and it is not defending Ethiopia, rather it dominated by inexperienced corrupt generals of one ethnic group, fighting for the political life of the pp, going after semitic peoples and encouraging cushites to steal, kill, rape, … in such situation, it is difficult for Ethiopians to accept the current ENDF as their own (indeed I feel creepy whenever a PP soldier comes close by, even more when a federal police approaches me in Addis –I really feel afraid of the addis ababa and federal police forces, they are there to kill me, not protect me…..alas

i_Mognu, denial is sickness. Abiye’s priority is messed up. As you know Fanno fought along with ENDF against TPLF. In the process Amhara got back Wolkite, Telemt and Raya areas. It was mostly accepted and only the decision by House of Federation awaited to legalize the restoration of the areas under Amhara. By the time even Abiye talked about Wolkite being part of Gonder (Begemder). Later on it seems he felt his power will be threatened by Amhara forces so he wanted to switch alliance with TPLF. That is the naked truth and you can not change it. It is also why Abiye is against Fanno as it will stand for Amhara when Abiye tries to hand over the disputed terrioris to TPLF.

At one time you told us your mighty Fano army is scoring one military victory after another and on the verge of driving out all enemy forces. At another time you are complaining about massacre. If Fano has won battles then it has the upper hand and in full control of its territory, then how can an enemy army comes in a carry out a massacre. Things are not matching up for you.
