Freweini Mebrahtu is a pioneer in introducing a recyclable women sanitary pads in Ethiopia.
Based on information we got from Ebenezer Hailemariam Derso, who seem to be a champion of her work, she is currently included in the top ten CNN Heroes 2019.
Voting is under way and will continue until December 3 of this year.
