Andargachew Assegid was among the founders of All-Ethiopia Socialist Movement (or Meison in its Amharic acronym)

He has published a book entitled “Be Achir Yeteqeche rezim guzo” – a book that many politicized Ethiopians with familiarity with the revolutionary era consider as well documented account of the time although some seem to claim that is not entirely free from bias.
