Coca-Cola is investing US$ 300 million to take its business to the next level in the country.
According to a report by Bloomberg, the expansion project is a five years plan. The company has been in the country for well over sixty years.
The first phase of the expansion, which is expected to happen soon, is US $70 million investment towards to build a new plant in Sebeta, a small town in the northern outskirts of Addis Ababa.
When completed, the Sebeta plant is expected to produce 70,000 cases of code per day according to Bloomberg report which cited European Union Embassy website as a source.
The company also plans to build a plant in Hawassa city – in southern Ethiopia.
