Amhara Regional State Council is holding its 12th regular congress in Bahir Dar starting Wednesday March 6. It will go on until Friday March 9, 2019.
Seemingly among the issues discussed today was the preparation for war on the part of leaders in Tigray.
According to report by Amhara Mass Media Agency (AMMA), the Amhara regional state said provocation and aggression that leads brotherly peoples of Amhara and Tigray to a state of conflict and war is not acceptable.
The region’s Communication’s Affair’s Head, Asemahegne Asres, had a press conference today regarding the congress in which he said that Amhara regional regional council discussed in depth security situation in connection with Tigray regional state.
Noting longstanding historical, cultural and religious relations as well as contributions of the two people in building Ethiopia, the region’s council underscored that there is no difference or grudge between people in Amhara and Tigray that could lead to war.
The regional council, according to Asemahegne Asres, condemned what it called “some” who working to bring about war between the two people which it says is unacceptable.
The region council squarely placed the blame for war mobilization and military build up on Tigray region leaders who lost plundered Ethiopia and lost power.
Amhara regional administration, said the council, believe that the peace loving people of Tigray will not silently see those leaders who are preparing Tigray for war and move to cause war.
As well, council said that Tigray region leaders are mobilizing for war and called up on them to stop military buildup near areas adjacent to Amhara regional state.
Within Amhara regional state, the council sternly warned against any aggressive moves that could threaten the people of Tigray and that such moves do not align with the peace loving people of Amhara.

In Ethiopia we have an estimated at least between a million to twenty million people that hold fake forged University degrees, many from Universities that do not even exist. These who pretend to have the skills to achieve many things deliver nothing except more corruption on the job market.Lemma/Abiy need to hunt down these fakeism people, that is assuming Abiy and Lemma themselves are not fake degree holders. For sure Mayor Habiba is fake .
In the last 27 years the really skilled educated individuals were forced to go in exile because fake degree holders pushed them out of the job market. Maybe now if Lemma clears the city the many Oromo Intellectuals will go back and atleast to help finish the GERD dam.Back in Ethiopia many with good potentials gave up pursuing education because they figured there were ample educated Ethiopians, while the truth was those assumed to be ample educated people were fake degree holders . Fake development of Meles who relied on the few others that were really educated was not able to develop the country with the 30+ billion dollars borrowed from foreigners almost all going down the drain. The fake degree holders by nature cannot even tie their own shoes without asking others for help. They call for help for every little task and decision. When they screw up they quickly shift the blame to whoever lent a helping hand. They even screw up in their personal family lives and shift the blame on their friends . It is wise not to associate with them because for every good thing they are quick to get themselves be the only achiever, but if something goes wrong it is their close associates that gets blamed.
So now do we elect one of these clowns since they are still at large or what?
Even Meles Zenawi himself by claiming to have been in school between 1991 and 1998 (while most thought he was hard at work leading a country ) he stayed in power longer than any one “Democrat” leader in history of the world.
Some Ethiopian people thought Meles will deliver what he preached but in his time as a leader he delivered nothing except worse situations. Right now it is the same khat hallucinatory people that are thinking they are qualified ,who are getting ready to
continue their reign of fakeism barnishing their fake degrees , preaching about love for others (they know nothing about) while getting ready to do more fake things. Ethiopians are still very much inithe hands of scandalous people. Scandalous people are allover from young to old. These fake people donot like educated people , education of any sort they see it as a threat.
Be it traditional religious or even common knowledge they rather not see in the country.
Wow we came to this, I never believe after all this year’s the people Tigray and Amhara are go to war. I did not read in history book that the two people had a major conflict, apart from stealing each others caw’s may be. “Ethiopia” changed beyond recognition. My question is who is going to benefit from this war? Not the people of Tigray or Amhara.
What is the role of the cental government? What is the power if the centre govermnet if has one? God save the people. If this war starts it defnatly has no end no winner all are looser. For generations the two people will be enemies. Ethnic war is an ugly form war no end..

Nothing justifies any violence in present day Ethiopia as the nation is on the right path to Democracy, pluralism and development. Any problem between the Federal government and states and between states should be resolved through talk, negotiation.
