Recently laid off assembly worker won $10.7 million from Lotto Max

Michael Gebru, originally from Ethiopia, won 10.7 million dollars jackpot from Lotto Max. According to CBC report, he was recently laid off assembly worker.

“It took me a while to realize I had won the jackpot” Michael Gebru is quoted as saying. he thought he won $14 and never knew that it was 10.7 million dollars before he saw the slip.

he bought the ticket from Gateway Lotto on Bloor Street and he won from the June 16, 2017, draw.
