The other bright spot in today’s numbers is the number of patients that need intensive care. It is now down to 596. That is the lowest since March 20, 2021. The same number here in Good Ole USA is also plummeting. I think and hope that you may be looking at a light at the end of this long and dark tunnel. But our Indian brothers and sisters are not faring that well at all. I have been watching a low pressure system that formed just south of the Maldives last week. I thought it might have been heading towards the coast of East Africa(Kenya or Somalia) but due to a sudden change in the wind direction it turned north east and now it is heading smack into the entire west coast of India. Like an insult to injury it may land right on top of Mumbai or Ahmedabad by the middle of this coming as category 2 or 3 hurricane. It is COVID carnage now and category 2 or 3 even 4 hurricane with a wind speed up to 150 mph is coming soon. Even the eye misses this area to the west the flood from torrential rainfall is going to be catastrophic. Other flood borne diseases(cholera & others0 may make things even more nightmarish over there this coming week.
The other weather phenomenon I have been watching on my radar was the rainfall in the old country. It was raining in buckets right on top of Lake Tana. What the heck, the 2nd filling of the dam may be done before the next regular rainy season, this coming July. Mother Nature is trying to tell Patriot Obbo Sileshi ‘I got your back!’ When I saw that I said ‘Hey, el-Sisi!!! Na-na, na-na, boo-boo!!!!!’
