In hindsight, this surge of the pandemic does not surprise me. Unlike those remote islands Ethiopia is a heavily trafficked country. With a very capable health minister leading the charge it has been able to fend off the scourge for a year while many other countries were experiencing carnage. It was a matter of time before cases to show sudden surges. Let’s hope and pray for the better because those upright and generous have been having rough times for more than 6 years with one made calamity after another perpetrated by none other than demonic bigots. They have had it, man!!!! As usual they will prevail even though badly roughed up!!!
But I am very concerned about the latest numbers here in the USA and also Canada. I think there is too much and too early celebrating going on now. Daily new cases and deaths are in the uptick again. I see more and more people especially those who might have gotten their first or 2nd jab walking around without face masks. What we should all remember is vaccines are not 100% protective. You can still be infected as long as the virus is still on rampage. Dear my countrymen! Please continue heeding the mitigating protocol. This Shall Pass!!! Insha’Allah!!!!
