A year after Ethiopia launched its first satellite from a Chinese launching pad, the second satellite was launched on Tuesday this week.
“Congratulations Ethiopia!! The second Ethiopian Remote Sensing Satellite successfully launched.” Ethiopian Space Science and Technology Institute wrote on its Facebook page.
The institute added that the launch of ET-SMART-RSS was successful but did not give any other details. FBC cited the deputy director of the institute as saying that ET-Smart-RSS will be sending better quality images.
