A day after Ethiopian Political Party Council asked for an extension of the next election claiming that the new legislation governing political parties is not in line with the covenant that political parties signed, Ethiopian election board chairman – Bertukan Midekssa – help a presser on Wednesday.
Among other things, she talked about the next federal election, Sidama referendum and the status of Hawassa city should the outcome of the referendum turns out to be in favor of Sidama statehood.
