Ethiopian delegation met with Ugandan president in Kampala

Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew led a delegation to Uganda and met with President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday, reported stated affiliated media FBC. 

Defense Minister, Lemma Megersa, and Water and Energy Minister, Seleshi Bekele, are in the team that Gedu led to Uganda.

The third Ethio-Uganda Ministerial joint-meeting is opening on Friday.

During the meeting with Gedu Andargachew and other members of the delegation, President Museveni remarked that there is a need to work hard on ways of further strengthening the relationship between Uganda and Ethiopia.

He also said that the third ministerial joint-commission of the two countries demonstrates the determination of the two countries to work towards a stronger relationship between the two countries.

Gedu on his part recalled that the two countries are members of IGAD and are working together closely to ensure regional security. He also remarked that the work that the two countries undertake collaboratively is fruitful and worth mentioning.

As well, Gedu stated that there is a great opportunity for the two countries in the areas of political, defense and security, economic and social areas and the meetings of experts in the areas was a success.

Nile water issue was another important area that Gedu talked about. He said that Uganda is a signatory of the Cooperative FrameWork Agreement (CRA) of the Nile Basin countries and the decision of the council of ministers to approve the agreement demonstrated Uganda’s determination for fair use of the Nile water for which he expressed his gratitude.

When the joint ministerial commission meeting opens on Friday, members of the commission are expected to discuss matters in political, defense and security, economic and social affairs, will be signing documents and memorandum of understandings.

    Just to be absolutely sure however >>> Please see the photo of His Majesty, Lord “Ugandan President Yoweri Musevini”, fountain of knowledge, dedicated to save Africa.

    Now, the first beneficiary of the wisdom is Ethiopia. Please note the diligent representatives taking notes for the survival of the oldest independent historically known country, named Ethiopia!!! Dictators are bold; His Excellency President for Life, Museveni, graciously and kindly sharing his invaluable rare free-time to give a few precious words for the survival of one of the Ancient Country not only in Africa but also around the Globe!!!

    Ugandans are lucky to have such a Leader — and no wonder that Uganda under the guidance of its self-appointed President is the singular envy of Africa, if not of the World. How luckier can a country get!!! No wonder the Ethiopian Delegation, shown on the photo, all taking notes, not to lose a single word of precious advice from the fountain of wisdom. One can only wish good luck to the Ethiopian Delegation in their endeavour to garner anything to save Ethiopia!!! wow! wow! wow!
