Isuzu, a Japanese automaker, is opening assembly plant in Ethiopia, reported state broadcaster – EBC – on Saturday. According to the report, the company is making preparations to make its plant operation in July of this year.
The company’s CEO had a meeting with Ethiopian Ambassador to Japan, Kassa Teklebirhan.
Kassa reportedly said that the company could tap into the extensive market in Ethiopia by assembling automobiles in the country, and that Ethiopian government will ensure necessary support.
