Ethiopian Airlines announced that it has now started service to Moscow. Flight was launched on December 17,2018.
The route aims to connect Moscow with sixty African cities to facilitate trade, investment and tourism. Ethiopian is deploying 787 Dreamliner jet for its three times weekly flight to Moscow.
With its 119 destinations around the world, Ethiopian Airlines is now the largest airline in the continent of Africa. Yet, it has embarked on numerous projects to expand its services further. Terminal expansion project is one of them. The Airlines has also completed its own five-star hotel in the capital Addis Ababa which is expected to have more than a thousand rooms.
A report published by the East African today says that four African Airlines namely – Air Mauritius, South African Airways, RwandAir and Kenya Airways – joining hands to reverse Ethiopian Airlines’ travel market domination in Africa.
Ethiopian Airlines has been purchasing shares from numerous African airlines and merging in some cases to remain competitive in the industry in the continent of Africa.
