Mulu Girmay, the wife of former Ethiopian prime minister Tamrat Layne, recounts her experiences of abuse in the hands of TPLF, virtually comrades whom she fought with against colonel Mengistu Hailemariam’s government before 1991.
She held a position in the EPRDF office in the capital Addis Ababa until she was accidentally terminated following the arrest of her husband sometime in 1997 on an alleged grounds of corruption involving US $16 million dollars.
Based on her interview with Nahu TV, there was what an apparent move to abduct her and her children up on their arrival in Ghana. Watch her interview below.
