Full version of statement by chairpersons of the four parties in the ruling coalition (EPRDF). Two important things to note :
1) The free press and journalists from outside of state media (EBC) and government affiliated one were never invited.
2) It was not a live transmission. It was taped and released. And there are claims that sensitives statement from Oromo People’s Democratic Organization chairman ( and president of Oromo region of Ethiopia) is cut out. But still, he made an excellent remark regarding the purpose of power and the need to address demand by the people.
