In a video message posted on her facebook page, Swedish activist Melody Sundberg questions whether Ethiopian government is sincere about its commitment to democracy. She seem to think that people who could otherwise help in making Ethiopia a democracy are rather languishing in prisons for no other reason than their commitment to make democracy a reality in Ethiopia.
Making a reference to those human rights defenders behind bars in the various prisons in Ethiopia, she advises the government to “stop calling people terrorist” and in stead listen to what they have to say.
“Cure hatred with love” that another important message that she conveyed to people in power in Ethiopia.
