ADDIS ABABA– The rebel faction of the Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement (SPLM-IO) led by former vice-president, Riek Machar, said they had not abandoned the quest for a federal system of governance in the country, vowing the matter had remained critical in the peace negotiations with president Salva Kiir’s government.
