Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom accompanied by the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, inaugurated the Ethiopian embassy in Abu Dhabi on Saturday (November 22). The ceremony was attended by UAE ministers and Ambassadors accredited to the UAE as well as be members of the Ethiopian Diaspora resident in Abu Dhabi. The Embassy marks another step in the expanding relationship between the two countries. Ethiopia’s accreditation was previously confined to the Dubai consulate. Apart from their growing trade and investment relations Ethiopia and UAE also cooperate extensively in the fight against piracy and anti-terrorism activities.
