Ethiopia: A Short Dictum in Memory of Hailu Gemoraw , By Tadesse Zerihun

Dear Hailu, as usual, life goes on, and life goes by
But your true humane concerns for humanity will never die
And the memories of your social critic life is eternal.

Dear Hailu, your body no longer exists
But in the lines of the platitude of your poems
You will never ever let us be all alone.

Dear Hailu, your voice is no longer heard
But within the powerful words of your poems
We will continue to watch you over the websites.

Dear Hailu, your dreams are no longer known
But in the spaces found in the magnitude of your poems
You will never be tired of looking for mother Ethiopia and for us.
