Milion Shurbe ,a very young Ethiopian journalist who fled Kenya to escape threat of persecution in Ethiopia reportedly passed away in Kenya. His former colleagues broke the news on social media.
Milion was apparently known for his journalistic works related to Ethiopian artists including Tewodros Kassahun ( Teddy Afro)
His colleagues fondly remembered him as “cooperative, courteous with good heart” Based on information from his friends on facebook, Milion was on VOA Amharic service just a fortnight ago
No detail is so far available regarding the causes of his death.
