(borkena) Germany against Ghana is one of FIFA world cup 2014 absorbing match, with out a doubt. And it could have been a clean win for Ghana if it was not for what appears to be a careless play by some of Ghana’s players.
The scoring for both teams came in the second half of the match. Germany had a one – nil lead at the 51 st minute by Goetze ‘s goal which Ghana managed to turn upside down in a little over ten minutes by leading Germany by two goals to one. Ayew scored a beautiful goal at the 54th minute and Gyan scored at the 63 rd minutes.
Not just that Ghana was making opportunities to score more goals out of counter attack plays. But at some point the team work was not so great. Opportunities that could have been a goal were misused.
Germany had to make two key substitutions to catch up with Ghana. One of the mistakes on the side of Ghana was giving too many allowing Germany too many corner kicks. One of the corner kicks met a final touch from Klose at the 71st minutes to make the score line 2-2.
Thereafter, both Germany and Ghana did try to score but was not a success.
It was a good performance by Ghana. It could have been better.
