The royal wedding of Prince David Wasajja (47) and now Princess Marion Elizabeth Nankya (27) was held last Saturday. The couple exchanged their vows at Rubaga Cathedral in Kampala. It was a colourful day for Buganda Kingdom as the young brother to the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, and his better half Marion walked down the aisle. The wedding ceremony had 1,000 guests including the Buganda King. Inappropriately dressed guests were bounced especially those in miniskirts and jeans.
Businessman Godfrey Kirumira also a member of the Kwagalana Group gave out money to Juliana Kanyomozi in a ‘Nigerian Style’ like an Oga as she did her thing. Interestingly, Juliana’s hand could not hold any more notes so the tycoon resorted to dropping the notes around the Diva’s boobs.
Considering how long he had taken to formalize, Prince Wasajja told his guests that he does not rush ‘things’, he normally takes his time so there was no cause of alarm. Several artistes including Jose Chameleone, Juliana Kanyomozi, Ragga Dee, Bobi Wine and Dr.Hilderman performed at the royal wedding.
Marion is a daughter to Bukoto South Member of Parliament, Mathias Nsubuga.
